MODAMICA, a dynamic and continuously growing company in the fashion retail world, is looking for a professional Cashier for our store in Valbrembo (BG).
đŻ What you will do
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all cash operations and providing customer assistance, ensuring a positive, smooth shopping experience in line with Modamica standards.
Key activities include:
- Managing customer transactions using a cash register.
- Scanning merchandise and verifying price accuracy.
- Handling payments in cash, cards, payment apps, and coupons.
- Issuing receipts and providing change accurately.
- Greeting and welcoming customers, offering support and information.
- Managing returns, refunds, and exchanges, checking product condition.
- Keeping the cash area tidy and clean.
- Counting the till float at the beginning and end of the shift, reporting any discrepancies.
- Assisting customers with member card registration and active promotions.
- Collaborating with the team on packaging and gift wrapping activities.
- Collecting feedback and reporting any issues to the manager.
đ Who we are looking for
A cheerful, precise, and customer-oriented person who loves organization and knows how to work in a team with a proactive spirit.
Required skills and qualifications
- Previous experience as a cashier, sales assistant, or similar role in retail.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with cash registers and POS systems.
- Good mathematical skills and time management.
- Excellent communication skills, positive and balanced attitude.
- Passion for fashion and attention to detail.
- Orientation towards continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in high-end fashion retail.
- Indicative age: 22â30 years old.
- High school diploma (preferably in economics).
- Excellent knowledge of main Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word).
