Cashier and Customer Experience Assistant

MODAMICA, a dynamic and continuously growing company in the fashion retail world, is looking for a professional Cashier for our store in Valbrembo (BG).

🎯 What you will do

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all cash operations and providing customer assistance, ensuring a positive, smooth shopping experience in line with Modamica standards.

Key activities include:

  • Managing customer transactions using a cash register.
  • Scanning merchandise and verifying price accuracy.
  • Handling payments in cash, cards, payment apps, and coupons.
  • Issuing receipts and providing change accurately.
  • Greeting and welcoming customers, offering support and information.
  • Managing returns, refunds, and exchanges, checking product condition.
  • Keeping the cash area tidy and clean.
  • Counting the till float at the beginning and end of the shift, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Assisting customers with member card registration and active promotions.
  • Collaborating with the team on packaging and gift wrapping activities.
  • Collecting feedback and reporting any issues to the manager.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cashier, sales assistant, or similar role in retail.
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with cash registers and POS systems.
  • Good mathematical skills and time management.
  • Excellent communication skills, positive and balanced attitude.
  • Passion for fashion and attention to detail.
  • Orientation towards continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in high-end fashion retail.
  • Indicative age: 22–30 years old.
  • High school diploma (preferably in economics).
  • Excellent knowledge of main Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word).
